Food is hugely important to us at The WIld Outdoors Activity Camps and we do everything we can to ensure each child eats healthy, freshly prepared food throughout the day.
Children will be provided with a delicious breakfast to set them up for the day, snacks throughout, a scrummy hot lunch prepared on site and an afternoon snack prior to departure.
Those on the sleep over camps will get a delicious dinner with dessert and a warming cup of chocolate. We cater for all dietary requirements, and produce is local and fresh.
Food is not just about the eating though, it is about the preparation. We have meals that the children will help cook with their newly acquired wild cooking skills. Meals such as lamb kebabas, whole roasted salmon, bushcraft burgers, we can even bake cakes on the fire!
Breakfast -Pancakes with fresh berries, bannanas and honey.
Morning Snack – Forest Fruit Flap Jack and fruit.
Lunch – BBQ Burgers with onion rings and salsa
Afternoon Snack – Bread Sticks, cucumber and watermelon.
Breakfast – Porridge, fruit and topping selection
Morning Snack – Fireside Brownie
Lunch – Cheesy Pasta with Brocolli and garlic bread.
